Wow, I am speechless. I absolutely love the character, Betty. She has, spunk, pizzazz, feisty, and a 'don't mess with me attitude! I felt sorry for Betty and her brother, but in the end it's what made them stronger and lovable. I love the ingenious idea about the ending and how the author left it open for our imaginations to run and decide for ourselves where this story could have gone. This is an amazing kick a** story that will have men day dreaming and women feeling empowered with an awesome twist and hilarious moments!! A recommended must read!!Product details

An interesting and entertaining short read. Betty and Barney are definitely unique characters, and the storyline is different with an ending I really didn’t see coming, all making this book a thoroughly enjoyable read.

This book starts off with humour with the characters names being Barney and Betty. Barney is the weak ill brother and Betty is the hard working criminal. Again, a very short story but filled with action the whole way through and the ending, well, I loved it. As usual, Bonnie comes up with the goods, superbly well written, and the characters were both lovable and annoying which is always a good sign of a good story!
Betty is a girl on a mission. She takes care of her sick brother who only stays alive by her stealing people's personal stuff. The stuff gives him "essence" which keeps him alive. She goes from place to place collecting this stuff and trying to find her "sperm doner" or father.
This book had an interesting concept with the whole "essence" thing. I found that pretty cool and interesting to read. Betty's got lots of attitude!
