Terribly creative and utterly unique this story had me rolling in stitches with humor running amok yet my nerves were set aflame with passion and lust at the same time! The author has a fascinating way of creating her character personalities so well you feel in the moment with them and almost as if they are a part of your family, brother, sister, cousin, etc. they were that engaging and easy to connect with.Dom is a Dominant who thinks he wants a forever with a submissive, he wants control at all times with no feelings attached. Kayla wants a dream career and the means to achieve this goal with no strings to hold her back from obtaining this success. They both have Dominant prowess with a hint of submissive genes in there and no clue about love, when the love bug hits them full force they have no idea on how to react and what this means for their future together.
Although Dom was delicious and Kayla was the spark of all firecrackers, the real star of this story was the moma bear, the southern twangster, BETSY, I love her so much, so charming and old school, couldn't get enough of her!

Ms. Robinson is a fairly good writer and she does it reliably. Having said that, this book is full of sexy times and if you like that it's okay, but the protagonists for this story are unlikable, at least by me, and that pretty much ruined it for me
Better than I thought it would be. Good story. There were parts that made me cringe a bit but they were supposed to. I felt the story ended too soon.
There were a couple of typos.
I was disappointed by the Dom, he was hardly what I expected. The Dom was a wuss. When I read about a Dom i want a master. I didn't get that here. While the story line was good, the lack of a master Dom took away from the story. If you are reading this book with a limited knowledge of BDSM then you will enjoy it. I would definitely read more of Rachel Robinson's books.
I didn't know if I would like this book, but after reading other reviews I decided to give it a try. What a great story. This book is not about BDSM , but about two strangers who meet in unusual circumstances and fall in love. Great writing!!
I'm not sure what made me decide to give this book a try. The cover didn't really pull me in. But the blurb was interesting. And I'm so glad I took a chance. My expectations in this genre are low when it comes to plot. But this author delivered a great story in spades. I absolutely loved the way it ended. I felt so many emotions while reading this book, which is rare for this genre. Normally the only emotion I feel is hot and bothered. This book has that. But it also has love and heartache and indecision and a ton of other real emotions.
Rachel Robinson’s “Dom Games” is a great story! I loved the dynamic between Kayla and the Dom (Dominic and love of her life from first sight!!!). The story was great in that it had love, sex, conflict, family conflict, etc. It had me second guessing myself as to the outcome and how it would be achieved at one point. I just really enjoyed reading it. It was well written, with very few typos. I would definitely recommend this book to fans of this genre!

I think that passage pretty well sums of the premise of this story. Kayla Parchet desperately needs money to pay for her master’s degree at Harvard, and you know what they say desperate times calls for desperate measures. So she submits a tape to the producers of the hottest reality show around, The Dom Games. She doesn’t really have a submissive bone in her body and she knows it’s a long shot but she would be set for life if she could somehow win this. Imagine her surprise when she gets word that she’s actually been chosen to be one of the 10 women competing for the “affections” of the mysterious Dom! Little does she know that the Dom for this season is none other than the enigmatic Dominic Reed, billionaire Dom and creator of The Dom Games. Once discovered, Kayla is determined to keep her eyes on the prize though. Fake it till you make it, and all that. But will she find herself in over her head in this competition? And what happens when those pesky things known as feelings get thrown into the mix?

This was such a fun book! Don’t let the BDSM aspects about this book scare you off, there’s definitely plenty of that, but it wasn’t crazy over the top. I actually found the book to be surprisingly romantic, especially for a book about a reality show that’s practically porn! I really liked Kayla’s spunk, she had such a sassy mouth that got her into trouble on more than one occasion, but she stayed true to herself and never backed down from Dominic (or anyone else for that matter). I personally couldn’t relate to the lengths she went through to get money for college, but I liked that she didn’t let the experience change who she truly was. I also loved the power she unknowingly had over Dominic. Watching him try to walk that fine line between the man he wanted to be for Kayla and the man everyone expected him to be (and who he usually feels comfortable being) as the Dom was quite fascinating and very entertaining! There was a lot more depth to this book than you might expect from the title and just reading the blurb. I loved how Rachel Robinson can bring the feels even in such a racy and “taboo” setting.

The concept of the book was pretty unique I thought, it’s certainly the first book that I’ve read like this. I loved the extra intensity that the whole competition added to the story. As Kayla and Dominic started to become more than just Dom and potential sub, the fact that there were still 9 other women vying for his attention and potentially 9 other women that he’d be having sex with (for all the world to see no less) really amped up the jealousy and complication factor. The juxtaposition of their really sweet friendship and maybe more to the fierceness and intensity of the competition was very compelling and complex. I really loved it!
If you’ve read Rachel Robinson’s other books, this one is very different but equally as enjoyable! I fell in love with Dominic and loved seeing him try to make sense of all the unfamiliar feelings that went along with spending time with Kayla. And Kayla was such a fun heroine. Together they made one heck of a pair and their chemistry was electric! If you’re looking for a fun, sexy, romantic and pretty angsty read – grab this one today!
